    New Kitchen fitted March 2010 . (10 months ago.) Two months later the top hindge on the door began dripping bits of plastic from inside the hindge and the door would not close. Contacted Hotpoint and they sent guy to replace.

    This is happening again and they are sending someone to fix on 29/12/10.

    I have the origional letter from Hotpoint stating 5 years parts guarentee & protection for labour and call out charges for 12 months.
    This time when I telephoned they really did not want to deal with my problem but kept trying to sell me extended Warrenty.
    What security do I have as I believe this 'hindge' is not fit for purpose and the same thing can happen again..
