    Hey!

Wonder if anyone would like to comment.....

Was checking out a recently delivered 300 litre hot water cylinder and just noticed that the Immersion Element is single and approx 12 to 14 inches long.

It's a triple coil Cylinder and all talk was of coils and their uses, sizes etc. - My assumption throughout was that Immersion would be adequate for the task at hand??

What ye think? Basically going by appearances if I ever want to use electricity to heat some portion of my 300 litres then am going to have to do it at a speed marginally faster than my kettle element which is slow enough to warm a litre or two......

The element is only meant as a back up. With a triple coil cylinder, you should never have to use it.

    Hmmm

    - Thanks for that, can't help feeling that for the price of the things a bit more oomph should be packed in the tin can!!!

Solar coil will not be used til I put in solar and solid fuel just on the odd occasion so just leaves oil or the teeny, tiny electrical element.....

Wonder if I have an option to bulk it up?
