No baking powder or baking soda

Does anyone know if you can replace baking powder or baking soda in a cake recipe? I went to the shop but they had none :( The recipe already has plain cream flour. Can I replace the baking powder/soda with self raising flour? If so, how much. 1 teaspoon of baking powder is what the recipe requires.

Replace all the cream flour in the recipe with the self-raising flour and it will be fine then.
