Bloody battery died

    So it bloody well happened last night. Feckin battery is knackered. I suppose any weakness in your car is going to show itself in this sort of weather. Spent a few hours standing in the freezing cold tonight with torch in one hand & 10 mm spanner in the other.:rolleyes:

    Can someone please advise me who sells the cheapest car batteries in cork city? I really can't afford this but obviously i can't do without my car.:(

    Halfords do cheap batterys afaik, or there's a place in glanmire a motor factors, reasonable enough. Dont know if any recons around though!

    Motor factors are generally cheap., Got one for friends car yesterday 55 euro or thereabouts depending on size. ;)

    Halfords battery RRPs are looney and they won't give you discount unless you have a trade card. MotorWay (across from Harvey Norman) are a decent factors, ask nicely and they may well give you a few quid off.

    Halfords has crazy prices

    Bought a battery for €60 for Nissan Almera 1.5 the other day in Dublin, equivalent in Halfords was €87 so ring around
