when Im stressed, like now. Mainly exams I think about it. That it would be easier than putting myself through the stress, or even just hurt myself so much that I could put it off. Does this happen to other people? is it abnormal thought process. Really what Im asking is should I be talking to someone professional. What stops me is thinking about the repercussions, mainly hurting the people that I love. I would feel embarrased admitting this in person, feel like a coward and what people would think of me but sometimes I think that wouldnt matter. That Id be gone and I wouldnt be able to care then. It just keeps coming into my head and it worries me. Ill be on for a while tonight so any thoughts appreciated guys.

It is not normal to have regular thoughts of suicide. In your case as with anyone else in PI who contemplates suicide, we must ask you to seek real world help and advice.

Every college has dr and counsellors, you won't be the first student to go and talk to them about this.
They will be the best one to advise you how to get help.
