Htc desire help please

    Hi
    Last week i bought an unlocked Htc Desire (previously on Orange uk)to use with my meteor sim. While the phone is fine for calls/txts, it won't let me use the mobile internet (wi-fi works fine) i put in the settings i was given by customer service today but no joy so i'll be ringing them again tomorrow. Has anybody else had similar problems? would de branding the phone help? any info/links people can offer would be great. cheers

    No, i was told data.eircom.ie today when i was on too customer services which i thought was a bit strange but tried it any way. I asks for my username and password when i try use it, but won't accept the name and password i was given to enter during setup! I'll try them settings though will try anything at this stage. :confused:
