Do you think the SEC would discount an applicant for assistant examiner on the basis of being a day late in returning the application form?

I would love to correct in July but was not able to get to the post office with the snow. Would it be worthwhile ringing them or is there a point.

A friend of mine submitted his application late last year. It was still processed because they rang him looking for bank details. Mind you in the end he wasn't chosen but that was due to a lack of experience rather than being late.

It would depend on the subject I suppose and how many applied for it.
    Good luck.

Send it in. I doubt one day would matter. Post will be delayed around this time because it's Christmas and because of the snow. They won't know you sent it a day late.

A couple of years ago the Dept sent me a form for practical examinations. It arrived in the post to me on say Dec 12th. On the form it said it had to be returned to them on Dec 8th.....
