    What kind of social networking website? Are going to do the coding or outsource the work? Will you use an open-sourced platform or code it all from scratch?

    Hard for anyone to respond without any understanding of why people would use the site. I am also building a social commerce/social networking website, so I understand that you may have a niche market and a good idea, but you won't find an investor on boards. Do a business plan desrcibing the concept and go to some start-up mentoring organisations who can help you develop financial & growth projections & provide you with contacts with VCs.
