    with all this hard weather,and rats alot hungerier than ever,the woman wanted to get a ferret.so last tuesday sarah arrived to her new home,sarah is a 3month old pol cat me thinks,very fiesty and wasnt handled too much,anyway a neighour called sayin he had discovered
    a rat,wondering if sarah was available.Gathered sarah into her carrier
    well she was like a well oiled machine no messing she hunted it to a small cavity wall that holds an oil tank.Night,night irene first kill let her bask in
    compele glory,nice feed and new bedding.All in a few minutes:cool:

    How possible is it for the rat to do the killing? Or even how often maybe???

    Rats are meant to be fairly vicious from what I hear

    Only time I've ever heard of it was when a guy muzzled his ferret (don't agree with it at all). Dug down and found it savaged. That's the sole case I've heard of it but answering your question yes it's possible.

    Best way to get rats without letting your ferret out is take the ferrets shavings or bedding and just scatter it around the rat holes or place they are, will scare the rats to death and you will see them leave urgently......:)
