    My van doe ran out on the 11th of december and i booked it in to get the test done Thurs 23rd december because im finished work wednesday for the xmas and il have time on the thursday. Anyway i had a small accident on the 12th and now my insurance Quinn-direct sent out a claims form to be filled in and thay want copy of licence,doe,and tax book. My question is will the cert be back dated when i get the test done?? Or am i f**ked?:(

    they dont back date doe certs. the issue them from the date it passes the test if it has expired.. if it was a small accident would you not try pay for the damage out of your own pocket or is someone claiming off your insurance??

    its about €1200. dont know what to do now so. im sure there will be an issue if they see the test was out of date.
