Imagine what kinda world we would have if religion thought us about the finality of death rather then a heaven or possible afterlife.

Not sure, but I reckon it's oblivion. Anyone with similar beliefs can take solace in the fact that we were dead for 13 billion years we were born, and it didn't inconvenience us in the slightest.

I'm going to set up a secret Atheist after life club, the mission of this club will be to develop a way to go back in time and suck your soul out of your body just before you die without anyone knowing or witnessing it and bringing you forward to the future were you will live with godlike powers that future technologies will bestow on you. an afterlife for the infinity of time would be my idea of the worst nightmare possible, the first billion years would be grand and the next 10 billion after that, the next 100,000 billion might be tougher considering you still have infinity to look forward to after those are finished :eek::eek:
