Awards July - Dec 2010 - nominations

    Yep, before you all disappear into a haze of christmas cake and turkey, it's time to have a think about the races, reports and achievements that have topped your list this year. The list of categories we already have is

    1. Performance Highlight July- December 2010
    2. Athlete of July- December 2010
    3. Photo Highlight July- December 2010
    4. A/R/T Thread July- December 2010
    5. Best poster July- December 2010
    6. Best Debut July- December 2010
    7. Best training log July- December 2010
    8. Best race report July- December 2010

    Donothoponpop, has also suggested a new category for volunteer of the period. This can be a person, mentor, organisation etc but should reflect the "giving back" to the running and triathlon community that can only be a good thing.

    To nominate in any (or all) the categories, just send me a pm with your list of nominations. if you want to add a comment to any of the nominations, that would be great and I'll add a little byline to the polls. I'll collect the nominations until 1 pm next Friday (24th) and then the polls will go up. Polls will remain open until 6pm on 31st (just to give you time to squeeze in that final, race report!).

    sorry about the delay in this. I was hoping the longer I left it, that some more nominations would come in. I've received less than 10% the number we normally would get so I'm going to unsticky this in case that's why it's being missed and hold nominations open until new years and we'll have voting the first week of the new year. Hope this is ok with folk?
