i like it, been a huge hit over there. good few remixes floating round of it too.

if this was a few years ago it would of made over to our shores on music channels etc could of been a hit here too.

now a days most hip hop that does well here is uk based techno/hip hop or american pop/rap.

it's not something i'd bump, but it's not something i'd turn off.

I like it, don't love it but I think it's a decent track. Been hearing his name a lot recently but I guess he's relatively unknown outside the U.S.? Game mentioned that he's working with him for The R.E.D. Album and himself and Snoop were on one of the many Black & Yellow remixes, I guess Wiz is one to watch in 2011?

there's so many new comers to look out and most of them disappear after 1 or 2 songs, they just dont have the consistency to make good music.

il reserve judgement on Wiz khalifa until i hear more good music like this.

we could all name countless rappers who had 1 hit and fell the fu*k off after it.

Ive been following Wiz Khalifa since his "How Fly" mixtape with Curren$y. He has been a mixtape rapper for the last few years, and I can think of at least 20 tracks I like way more than Black and Yellow, but this is the first track of his that is getting some media love and airplay, although when he hopped on Empire of The Sun's Walking on a Dream ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olXGuteljv0 ) he got alot more attention. Not his best by a long way, but definately a good track and doing good things for him.

until this song he was relatively known outside LA, this song has been a hit on all sides of U.S hip hop.

He's from Pittsburgh so has a pretty big following in Pennsylvania alone. Not sure what LA has to do with anything. He's a pretty well known guy within the mixtape scene and has been knocking around for a little while now. Stoner hip-hop like Cudi.

shows how much i know about him, taught he was from LA. i dont listen to him anyway bar this song and if the rest of his music sounds like cudi well lets just say il be giving him a miss.

Nah he doesn't really sound like Cudi at all, he just has similar content to his music eg heavy weed references.

Honestly I was under the impression he was from LA as well.

Check out his mixtape early in the year, some good stuff on it. In the same lane as Curren$y but not as good or consistent imo.

He's originally from North Dakota and only moved to Pittsburgh in his mid teens plus I'm guessing that the Minot Vistas baseball team aren't cool enough to be getting their logo made into diamond encrusted platinum jewellery ;)

I do like Wiz though, I thought his Kush & Orange Juice mixtape was excellent, way better then his album Deal or No Deal anyway. I'm listening to his new mixtape now and I'm really impressed with it's typically stellar production. His constant weed references do grate on me after a while though.
