Is anyone else having problems with their orders from Zavvi.com?? I'v ordered some stuff at the start of the month and still have not recieved, aswel as some stuff at a later stage which I have recieved. Anytime I contact them they take a minimum of three days to reply. Its so annoying as a bought a lot of my christmas presents on this site:mad:

I bought a number of XBox games for the young lad for Christmas.

The most recent order was last week and the game arrived earlier this week so no probs here.

If the value of the goods was in excess of the customs threshold then the could be caught in customs which is a sure fire way of ensuring that your good arrive late.

Zavvi are UK based. There should be no issue in respect of customs as we're all in the E.U.

Cheers - I just assumed they were Jersey based.

Just got an email regarding a James Bond box set that I ordered, saying that it now may not be delivered in time for christmas because of the the few days I had to wait while they were 'awaiting stock', so thats one christmas present I won't depend on. Checked the order of some of my other items and they had cancelled one of them, not even an email to explain:( and stil no reply to other emails I had sent 4 days ago. They have good value stuff, but will prob give these fella's a skip next year (or do the shopping before december like the clever people)

If your buying dvds, your best off to try amazon.co.uk first, 9 times out of 10 they are always cheaper than play or zavvi etc, ok you dont get free delivery unless you spend over 25 quid but they dispatch from Dublin and their customer service is excellent and always easy to return a product, i would'nt buy anywhere else than amazon now.

I would def agree, never had any problems with amazon, I did actually shop around to see where I could get the best deals, and that james bond set was more than half the price on Zavvi then on amazon... and any other site! You cant beat amazon tho :)

They're not UK based, they ship from Jersey, outside the EU and subject to customs delays and charges etc.

Aye... upon checking it looks like they are based in Guernsey.

From their terms and conditions -

"Please note that when shipping goods from Guernsey, cross border shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities"
