Black Ops, escape with DR.Clarke?

I'm playing black ops and I'm stuck on a part the last two days.

I have to escape with doctor Clarke and he jumps off one building to another and is just hanging on I have to go over to him but I can't make the jump.

Can anyone tell me what I do?

Escape With Dr. Clarke
Follow the prompts to smash the window and punch the man. When the action begins, you’ll get thrown some dual wield pistols. Take cover immediately in front of the corridor and crouch. Pop up and down to shoot the enemies coming toward you. Before you follow up the ladder, check the desk behind you to retrieve the piece of Intel. When you hear the audio cue follow Dr. Clarke up the ladders.
Out of the room, watch out for the two guys at the end of the corridor. You should be able to rush them without any problem. Head to the roof, but watch out the for guy in the window at the top of the stairs. When you jump on the roof there are plenty of cover spots so use them to pick off soldiers. You could pick up the Draganov from one of the fallen soldiers and use it to snipe across the roofs before you continue. To follow Dr Clarke and leap off the roof you need to be running. So sprint and jump!
When they move the fridge, there’s plenty of weapons to pick up in the room behind it. Some corridor fighting now, and watch out for the rooms on your right, where soldiers appear from. Save your grenades for the room right at the end of the corridor, you should be able to take out three of them. Watch out for guards breaching the windows. Try and take out the guys on the roof opposite before jumping off the roof. Head over to the building straight opposite and you’ll be able to use that for cover while you deal with the guys on the ground. Watch you don’t go steaming in, there’s a lot of soldiers outside. Use grenades when you can and watch out for the guys high up before you slide down the pipe. Drop down on the two “assholes” below and stealth kill or just gun them down.
Follow Clarke and Weaver across the roof-tops. Slide down the roof-top and take advantage of the slow-mo to take out the soldiers. There’s a piece of intel on the floor underneath the tin roof in this area. There’s also some ammo and other weapons, including an RPG. Make a dash down the roof-tops to your objective marker. when you get into the building fire an RPG when the door opens in slow-motion. That’ll will kill the intruders immediately. Another corridor fight, chuck a grenade in the room at the end of the corridor. Let Weaver and Clarke always move ahead, they’ll mop up some of the bad guys for you.
Keep following through the buildings and across the rooftops until you reach an open area outside. In the building straight opposite you to the South there’s weapons, including the Grim Reaper, and ammo so stock up.
