Bought a new set of magnetic lights for cow box, but there are difficulties, sometimes there appears to be a loose connection and only right hand side works sometimes. The strange thing is that there was also a problem with the last set.

I tried the same set of lights in different cars and there is always a problem, so I put it down to a fault on the lights rather than the car.

Anyone else with this problem, are there different sets of lights which are guaranteed to work

Have had 2 pairs of these in the past and both lights worked perfectly, however for one set the lights fell apart from the magnet after a couple of weeks, second pair came as replacement but try not not depend on them so actually don't use them much just have them in case cought out.

Possibly you got a dodgy set if their new. Return them and demand new set

If the problem moves from car to car then you're buying crap lights.

if it doesnt move from car to car then it's likely to be the wiring in the car.
