    Two questions in one here.

Is it worth my while moving to a electric shaver, pissed off with having to contantly buy blades.

Any can anyone recommend an electric shaver ( i know there is a post below, but thought i would ask again )

    Cheers.

just my tuppence worth, I've owned a few electric shavers in the past (all Philishave) and I am back on wet shaves now, well I'm sick of buying blades too but I'm moving to DE shaving.

I have a heavy growth rate and I found the shave from the electric shaver to be poor compared to the wet shave. My skin also reacted badly to electric shavers but not too bad with a wet shave.

Note, you will also have to buy new blades for your electric shaver, granted not as often but they will have to be replaced.

Like 'run FORREST run' I have had many Philishaves from time I had to start shaving. Only once tried a wet blade, cut lumps out of my skin and bled like a pig! Before rechargeable batteries came on the scene we had no electricity one day and I went to barber shop for a cut-throat shave. I never experienced anything like it for smoothness and much better than any electric shaver but still went back to old way after. Would use only Philishave.

I have some philips one. Not sure which. Does a grand job. I haven't had a wet shave in 3 years. I look about 16 when I wet shave. I also look a bit like a boiled ham afterwards. Couldn't imagine having a job where I couldn't look like a hobo should I choose.

For a better quality shave stick with wet shaving, I've a pretty high end Braun, it's decent but nothing compared to a proper wet shave. TBH I only use it if I am heading somewhere after work and want a "top up" shave to keep myself smooth.
