Central Locking problem

I have a new model Opel Corsa but am having a problem with the central locking. When I use the buttons on my Key the doors will only lock but will not open the car for me.
On more than once Occasion I have opened all doors with the Key and the buttons jump up and down at speed and then lock again.
I need to get this sorted soon but unsure what I would need to have done. We have ruled out the key as being the problem so it seems to be a problem with the locking system

If I bring this to an Opel Garage how much am I looking at paying to fix it?? Any advice would be great

Is there a lock on the passenger side you can try, or, if you can get in, does the central locking work OK from the inside?

I had a similar problem years ago where one of the interior door handles was stuck half open / half closed. Central locking couldn't make it's mind up if it should be open or closed so would do what you described above.

No there's no lock on the passenger door. The central locking doesnt work if i use it inside, one one or two occasions the inside handle inside has kinda of stuck and I can get outta the car so need to get it sorted soon.

How/where did you get yours fixed?
