    Anyone order from them?

Would I have any chance of getting delivery before xmas at this stage?

Don't know how fast they are, but I know that camskills and blackcircles are quick. They're probably out of what you need though?

Unlikely IMO - for 2 reasons - the upcoming weather in europe and britain affecting deliveries and then add in xmas delays etc. i ordered 3 weeks ago and still await mine. others have been sorted in 6 days. you pay your money you take your chanes.

If i was doing it id get part worns locally. drive in get sorted drive out. much easier

I called into one palce for second hand ones. Each pair of wheels had the same thread patern and were available in pairs BUT each tyre had different thread wear "ah sure that doesnt matter"! I was told. I dont agree with that. Having four different % worn tyres isn’t a good idea.

I want to do things right or not at all.

Im a regular customer of camskill.co.uk and they usually deliver on the third day to mayo.
Last week, I ordered for eiretyres as they happened to be just as competitive on price this time thinking that I might have the tyres in 1 day. Seeing as they were advertising free delivery through Ireland, I though that perhaps they had the stock in ireland but no, tyres came from germany and took a full week to arrive so no, eirtyres will most likely not deliver before christmas but camskill will I would think if tyres are in stock

If you order of Eiretyres, like I did, I'd say your chances are 50/50 if the tryes are in stock. Mine were delivered in 5 working days, why not ring them and ask.

No point comparing delivery times with a UK based company or anybody that does not have stock. It's to be expected that something that comes from the UK gets here quicker compared to dispatching from Germany.

Four tyres with different tread on a vehicle, not for me either. The "it'll be alright" filosophy doesn't go with me at all.

    .

They have a wierd 0800 number. Dont think I can dial that from Ire.

Edit - I see they have non free number 0049-511-93634640
    Will call them tom.

My point was that I got the impression that the Eiretyres would be dispatched from ireland. I wouldnt have bothered if Id known they were coming from germany.
Just making sure that the OP knows that they are comng from Germany too

Appreciate what you are saying. That's why i tend to "investigate" a little before spending 5 or 600 Euro on items online. Who are they, where are they etc. That's the easiest way to find answers to your questions.

I twigged they were not in Ireland early on.

Its very off putting that they dont have stock levels or expected exit times from their warehouse.

They didnt answer my email I sent them about del eta for Ireland.

    Prices are good though.

I find the Germans very straight to deal with in business.

    Ordered mine 29/11/10, got delivery 14/12/10- 2 Nokian wrg2
    Not really ideal-
Turns out the mobile fitter they have listed in Monkstown is no longer trading, that helped to mess things up-

For anyone working in town the guys working in the small Garage on Grand Canal Street just across from the Spar had no prblem fitting them to my steel rims at €25 all in-

I would say you've little chance now if you havent done so. mine shipped 7 days ago and are still on oldbury in the uk - today was my supposed latest delivery date with the likelihood id get them 2-3 days early. i ll be lucky to get them monday now - another weekend without them.

Im looking at these as an investment for future winters so I will wait til aft xmas at this stage.

When you paid for them how soon was it before you had some notification they we on the way? Are they very organised?

Some get an invoice and shipment next day, for me it was a full week before they processed by CC and i got an invoice. few others have reported the same too.
