    Hi guys
I am looking to move from Sky to freesat. The current set up I have is a sky box with a separate DVD/HDD recorder in a room different to the main living room. I want to cancel sky and move to freesat ......here is the fun part:D
I want to get HD freesat in the main living and bring my own separate DVD/HDD recorder in with this. So I wondering is it possible to do the following
    1) Have a HD free sat box in the main living room connected to my own recorder. Possibly have the facility to record and watch different shows at the same time (as per Sky +)
    2) Leave the sky box in the other room but just use that as a "Freesat" box as such once Sky is cancelled..
My sky dish was installed about five years ago so I not sure how many connections are available on it. I might need to get a new dish.
    My questions are.....
Is this actually possible ? If so what installers are available in North Cork area before Christmas to sort this out ?
    Thanks for the help:)
