Can we get birth cert with so little info?

Hi, my husband has decided this evening that he would like to get his original birth cert. He has has adopted birth cert but that only has his dob and name given by his adoptive parents and their names. We do know he was adopted through st clares adoption agency and thats all the info we have. With this will we be able to get original birth cert? We contacted hse which now has the files for st clares but when we asked for non identifying info there was no info given apart from his dad was of small build and drove a digger. So where do we go from there?

hi, first get back on to the hse their has to be more info on his file. in your non id info u should get where he was born his birth name and his birthmothers first name. that is what u will need to get his birthcert. his adopted name and his adopted parents name will not appear on his orignal birthcert, without more info it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.....kathy
