Aside from Phoenix park anywhere near dublin city centre that has decent hills to do workouts on?

stuff like 30 second-1 minute uphill sprints.

Particularly places near Ballsbridge or Clontarf.

Start with nearest and work my way out

Mount Merrion/ Deer park (beside UCD)
    Ticknock (Rathfarnam)
    Hell Fire Club (Tallaght)

These just a few of the ones i would use and recommend the HFC being my favourite as you can get 30 sec to 10 min constant up hill climbing if you wanted plus the terrain is alot better on your legs that concrete pavements

If its got to be clontarf then there is a path going into St-Annes park starting on the bottom of Mount prospect road and clontarf road (Sea front Road). Its not that hilly, and only about 200m, but some of the raheny crew do repeats on it...

If you want the real deal then its got to the Howth...

Howth has a few nice trails alright.

(If you want the real deal, head down to the Reeks in Killarney :P )

    Apt username for this thread!

I run repeats on Knockmaroon Hill sometimes as parts of my runs around the Phoenix Park. It's certainly steep enough!
