Hi Slimseamie, Congrats on your engagement :)
The Annebrook is a beautiful hotel and Jodie the wedding co-ordinator is lovely.
When we were picking our venue it was in the top 2.
After a lot of agonising we went with somewhere else but I would definitely recommend having a look :D

thanks very much! :D yeah we are definitely going to have a look anyway, what hotel did you choose for your wedding if you don't mind me asking? the fiance has me searching everywhere on the net looking for feedback because our shortlist for potential venues isn't too short so we are trying to narrow it down!

We're going with the Mullingar Park Hotel Slimseamie. It's a tiny bit more expensive but once we saw it, nowhere else would do :D
    I've also sent you a pm ;)

I attended a friend's wedding there in Oct '09. It was really nice - very good food and they gave a great special offer with 2BB1D. A smaller group of close friends and family shared dinner on the second night in the basement restaurant which was lovely and intimate.

My friends seemed to be pretty happy with the wedding - I know of all us guests were.

Hi, nivek13, am looking at the K CLub also, fairly well priced and fab venue. Did you have to walk from the hotel to the function room outside? Was it a bit of a buzzkill? Thks
