Hahaha, very true. I ave to say, i'm not so sure about it, and those DRLs look a bit meh. I suppose it's not how it looks, but how it sounds right!

Is there an Opel-badged version of this? It's not that I'm a big GM fan but they have a reputation for producing insane performance-orientated cars for budget money. The car itself has a huge price-hike, partly due to the UK VAT-rate going up by 2.5%, but its still a bargain, bang-for-buck.

That looks f'en class!!! Pity they chose such a gaudy colour to release those pics in. Red/black/white would have been better I think.

I tend to agree, not sure on the DRL's.
I have to say though, I really do love it overall. It's just a car you would drive simply because you love cars, not because you want to be seen in it. Something like a basic American muscle car, loads of power and very little subtlety.

Don't think so, I think current models are Holden from the ground up, production of Omega based Holdens ended with the last 2 door Monaro.

Yellow is faster though. White is a bit played out, they want to differentiate from the white BMW M3 image. And Audi tend to whore Red out.

Good points! At least they're not using the horrible turquoise that Volvo used on their (I think) T5 models!

Why won't they import the Holden Commodore SS? Am I missing something or is the VXR8 just thieving (within the GM family) the Aussie Holden's look and Ford's Falcon XR8 spec designation? Talk about lazy.

I loved the previous version but one problem with it now is that it is priced firmly at a C63 AMG level.

The other problem with it is, while the previous version looked super aggressive this one has crossed the chav line IMO. New Skoda Octavia after a trip to Halfords anyone?

Yeah they look like an after thought! And there's too many chrome bits just stuck on. Don't get me wrong, i actually like the car, but there's a few bits on it that destroy the image of it. Like the chrome bit on the nose of the bonnet, and the chrome lining just below the driver/passenger windows. Oh and the wheels are horrendous.

Well I love them bits..:o:o. My missus calls me a crow because I like chrome and shiney things..:)

I am sure the top gear boys will test it well. I love the car actually. I think it looks like one of the older Imprezas which is good.

Its the first time in a long time where I have looked at the first pics of a new car and said.. Yeah I love that.
