    Recently started playing bass after 10 years of playing guitar. Looking to join a band for the craic.

    Haven't been playing the bass long, but as I said before, I've been playing guitar for 10 years so am pretty handy on the fretboard. (I know someone is gonna say that just because I play guitar that doesn't mean I can play bass but in this case, they'd be wrong) lol.

    I'll pretty much join any band, except death metal (don't mind thrash or Maiden style etc) or xfactor type pop ****e.

    Listen to and am influenced by a wide range of music including

    U2
    Creedence Clear Water Revival
    Lynyrd Skynyrd
    Jesus and Mary Chain
    Band of Horses
    Aerosmith (70's only - none of that don't wanna close my eyes ****e)
    Death Cab For Cutie
    The Postal Service
    Green Day
    Blink 182
    Angels and Airwaves
    Old school 80's Thrash metal

    I'm male
    Mid 20's
    In Dublin
    10 Years guitar exp, playing in bands
    Can sing if needed
    Write a lot of my own music
    Can do backing vocals
    I'll play the guitar reluctantly if needed but prefer to pay the bass
