While these are helpfull in recording averages, setting challenges and playing against the computer programm or yourself you should really try and improve your counting. Depending on these to do the counting for you is fine to make practice sesions easier for someone who is able to count. You will not have the luxury of a darts counter if you end up playing matches in a league etc.
You will also enjoy the game more if you can count the scores and work out what you have left, and how to get it naturally.
Being able to do this will take a huge doubth out of your mind and give you one less thing that could potentialy distract you when you are going for your shot.

    Enjoy the game.
