Hey there guys, I've recently bought (well, my parents did) a house from Super Happy Fun Time Homes in Newbridge. My parents have been given an allowance for appliances but they wanted a better washer and dryer and therefore paid an extra 1600 euro.
The appliances were supposed to be ordered 2 months ago. I've went over to DID Electrical to find out what's up with the order and the guy told me that they're ready to ship but they haven't been paid by Super Happy Fun Time Homes yet.
Super Happy Fun Time Homes keeps lying to me that they have ordered these already and should be delivered in the next three weeks.
Would it be possible to report this to Gardai or Small Claims court as a robbery? They've been given money, but there is still no new washer or dryer after two months.

    Thanks in advance guys,
    Michael

PS. NEVER DEAL WITH CHILDREN OR ANIMALS!.

Not really a criminal matter on its face without proof of fraud (complicated) although we all know what's happened here.

Go to a Solicitor - your parents are likely to be entitled to either the money or the goods bought - the sooner you go the better.

A genuine question: why recommend seeing a solicitor over Small Claims Court? In this scenario could/would the solicitors costs be borne by Barrack Homes?
The amount at odds appears to be €1600.

I didn't think breach of contract was allowed in the small claims court.

No legal advice as per charter, OP should really see a Solicitor over this matter.

Also, name of the company removed as it's not really appropriate to name them as such.
