    got a phone call deer in lower fields yesterday evening so first light i was out this morning got a hybrid hind and calf on the lower ground seen about 8 in total both fell to .308 with 125 btips nice bit of venison for xmas

    Nice one. Are those hybrid lads as big as a red or smaller or what. I'v never seen Them in person.

    hi poulo the hind was like a small donkey she was sitting down shot her in the neck the calf stood up looked around shot him went up and looked at the size of the hinds head it was not far off a red hind in size but you can see the sika in her coat the calf was 80 % sika should make good eating

    suprised at you styerman at carrying around a pocket full of bulky ropes for pulling deer. here is a small puller that i made up out of a small bit of hydrodare and a bit of clothes line rope. the rope need be about 2 foot long to the loop so you can get it around the animals neck and you are not having to lift the animal off the ground, as you are dragging it, if it is too short.

    hi welsummer i carry a few bits of rope in a rugsack i rap them around my walking stick that is 5 ft in lenght and drag behind me straight pull on both arms works a treat tryed different things and this works best for me ;)
