    Hi,

I tried posting this in the parenting forum but got no replies:( I have a friend who is due to have her first baby in March 2011 and I would like to get her a gift voucher for a beauty salon to use either before or after the birth. However, I live in Dublin and she lives in Waterford and I don't know what are the good beauty salons in that area. I'd love it if someone here could recommend a nice salon for me.

    Thanks in advance:)

it really depends on what kind of treatment you want to get her, if its for relaxing treatments theres a very good therapist working in the Granville Hotel, she is part of "pink Lotus Therapies" a mobile therapy service which is based in that hotel so your friend could go there or have the therapist go to her house. She does most beauty and holistic treatments at very reasonable prices. This is their facebook page:

The only beauty salon I would return to in Waterford City is boudoir salon, in the suerquinn shopping centre.

I'd reccommend a yoga voucher or a voucher for spirit salon on the quay as they have a pool, when i was preg all i wanted to do was swin or yoga!

i used my beauty voucher after i gave birth!

Bay spa in Tramore do great Mum to be pamper packages, or they have a great selection of massages...which would go down a treat pre or post baby!
