Was thinking of getting this for my Aunt. Reception very poor with analogue.
Perfect with digital, tested it myself with Triax box. (i know these will not work come April, someone else bought one I just borrowed it to test.)

She currently has a small 14"portable but with awful reception. Therefore i wanted to get in digital and was thinking as the walker saorview set top box are €99 i might as well pay bit extra and get new tv while at it.

Im assuming this tv is saorview compatible and will display the rte 2 feed in HD that the triax box does not?

Also if any bad points why not to get or other better tv recommendations i would appreciate it thanks

Yeah, that TV is perfectly fine for all Saorview services.

Don't have that particular TV, but have an equivalent walker 19" from pre saorview days that hasn't given us any trouble over the last 3 or 4 years, if that's any help?
