Reliable site/shop for 2nd hand PS3?

    Would you get a 2nd hand ps3 for 200euro?

    A pal of mine is looking for one for her 10yr old for xmas...her max budget is 200, and I've been looking online and can't find anything close.
    She's in Dublin...if it's a website, I assume it's only as reliable as the persons word who's selling it btw, in case it doesn't work etc?

    If you could, you'd want to check the likes of gamestop, game, xtravision and smyths who all sell second hand consoles.

    To be honest though, I wouldn't hold my breath. I think I've only seen them around the 250 mark and even then thats without any games which kind of defeats the purpose.

    I had a quick look here which is a site for comparing video game prices but no joy.

    Gamestop have a 2nd hand ps3 for 269 on their website....

    You MIGHT get something on adverts such as this

    but thats all down to luck too i suppose.

    Hopefully thats a start!

    Appreciate that thanks...like I said, I'm clueless about consoles and was trying to do a pal a favour. I think she's already checked out a few of the shops but the best she's been offered is 279...
