VW Passat 2003 Spare FOB key

Hi car experts, Any idea where can I get a VW Passat 2003 Spare FOB key cut/programmed? I know any VW dealer would do this but are there any other options? Does anyone know cheaper option then going to the dealer? Also, is it possible to get FOB and blank key from ebay and get it cut and programmed? How do I find the part…

Also, is it possible to get FOB and blank key from ebay and get it cut and programmed? How do I find the part number for my FOB/key apart from ringing VW dealer?

Thank you golfbud..i personally visited amien street locksmith and they quoted me 50 euro for just the key cut..and told me to source FOB and programming done from the dealer.

Also, called Bradys, Castleknock, Dublin 15 for FOB, Key Cut and programmed and they quoted me 230 euros. Any other place I can try?

Haven't got it done personally so I cannot advise further.......keep searching on here as there mat be more replies on this subject.
