MF 50H hydraulic problem

I have a 1986 MF 50H powershuttle tractor and over the last few weeks the hydraulics on it have gotten worse and worse. They've slowed down and jerky and it's the same right from when the tractor starts cold to when I finish with it.
Now I am first to admit my tractor mechanic skills are pretty limited. I have the operators manual and can easily follow all the procedures in it for maintenance. I changed the oil and checked the hydraulic filter and also the sieve thing (sorry) that was inside it and they were fine. The hydraulic filter was changed last feb and you should have seen the filter I pulled out, it practically disintegrated on contact with light.
Now there's a sticker on the front of the tractor and it says there's a hydraulic oil suction filter and a hydraulic oil pressure filter. I want to know are they the two filters that are under the step on the left side of the tractor or is one of them somewhere else on it I missed?
Any other ideas what could possibley be causing this problem?

    Thanks lads.
    Anyway

Pump is gone, I'd say - struggling to keep up pressure and flow rate which is slowing down operation and reason for the jerkyness....

Agree, especially when you say the filter disintegrated last feb when you changed it, the harm was well done at that stage. Try Egans (052)54679 or (087)2720160 or Neville Stanley (057)8738535 for a second hand pump
