ps3 slim freezing on internet

    hi all im new to the ps3 but finally got round to buying a 120gb slim. its grand works fine but freezes on the internet. is this commom or do i have a problem? as i said new to the system but as soon as i got it i was asked to update the firmware to 3.55 which i did . would that have something to do with it thanks

    Depends what you mean by "freezes on the internet"...

    Do you mean as noodler said when using the browser?
    Do you mean in a multiplayer online game?

    Could be because you are on wireless and dont have enough coverage...

    Happens to me all the time as I use the browser a lot for watching stuff online. If you turn off Javascript (press triangle and select the second option 'Tools' at the top) that can stop it crashing, but it means YouTube videos won't work, so you can turn it back on when you need it. This video will show you what to try.
