The battery VT fault or battery Ld fault refers to you needing to check the connections on the battery, if it is connected you will need a new battery. The panel does not have fuses so if there is a problem with a cable it will click in like you say. I would also check the connections to both internal and external bell in case there is a problem with the cable.

Your welcome, as there are no fuses in the panel I would check for cables touching in the panel terminals. That might be the cause of the clicking as it takes a few minutes for it to reset. If it is still happening you will need to check both ends of the cable with a multimeter.

If you have no meter disconnect both bells and try connecting them directly into the panel on a short lenght of cable one by one.
This will confirm or eliminate a cable problem.

    That is incorrect.

If you look at the board you will see a small bell, this is for the internal bell. It is terminal 6 + 7 -

    You have 12v 1+2, data 3, keypad 4+5, internal bell 6+7, external bell 8+9.

    Hope this helps.
