    Hi,

    I have a 2003 Renault Megane with a standard "Tuner List" radio. Somebody told me I could get an adapter that would allow me to use an Aux In interface for connecting my iPod. I check in Halford's today and he said no, I would have to buy a new radio...

    Is that true? Or is there some kind of AUX Interface Adapter that I could buy somewhere?

    Thanks a million.

    Here's one;
    http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic306513.htm

    But for that kind of money you would want to contact them first to make sure it will suit.

    also, check out this site;
    www.renaultforums.co.uk

    you might have to register (free) with them to search the site, or post a question, but this should be a great place for any info on your car.

    You probably should be able to get an adaptor for it, but it won't be OEM or even a proper manufacturer.

    Not cheap, but it does have the added benefit of connecting to the CD changer function of the stereo, thus allowing you to pause, change track, etc from your steering wheel controls.

    Your other option is to do what I've done. I have a 2007 scenic which has the next version of the TunerList radio, UpdateList. This includes the slot for an AUX lead. You could probably get an Update List for €50 or less from a scrap merchant or on ebay. Then you can get a €10 AUX lead and plug it in. You don't get the ability to pause or switch tracks, but I'm not that concerned; the lead only cost me a tenner.

    In your case, the adapter above may be the way to go.
