looking for two kids show titles

    one had a theme tune that went 'i'm the story teller and my story must be told'...and had a bit in the chorus that went 'in england i am john'..it was a show telling stories but i cant remember the premise or title

    the other was a show i recall from summer holidays and it was about a boy on a pirate ship? it was live action, not animated...i loved it at the time but cant remember the name

    can anyone help?
