Meteor email setting

    Hi all, quick question as I can't get email to send on my Desire. Does anyone know what Meteor's SMTP server address is? I've tried mymail.meteor.ie and while there's no error checking the connection, I still can't send email. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Try: mail.mymeteor.ie.

    That usually works, but its hit & miss.

    Sorry, it is mail.mymeteor.ie that I'm using, Max. It's mostly miss as far as I can see.

    **EDIT ** Have managed to set it up to use Gmail's SMTP to send messages, but it's a bit crap that Meteor still haven't got a basic outgoing mail server (that has some degree of reliability) in place.
