    Hi guys,

    Im an unemployed carpenter, my tax is up on the van, ive read there are new tax rates for vans etc, and to avail of the old cheaper tax rate you need to supply a VAT number, how am i supposed to avail of the old rate, firstly the van is for commercial use, but ive always ever only worked for someone, i dont have a VAT number, im just an employee, with a van to carry all my tools, i dont have 600 to tax the van, crazy stuff, that would make my annual tax twice that of my insurance :mad: :mad:

    ::confused

    thanks

    It's not being enforced. you should be able to tax as you have always done. Just the Green party acting the maggot.
