Hey lads, can anyone help with a headlight problem please. On both of my headlights there are lacquer stains/streaks that i'm trying to get rid of. They are definitely on the outside of the plastic. I scrubbed em for ages but they won't shift. I heard Auto Glym Bumper Care is great but wanted yer opinion first before possibly wasting a tenner.

    Thanks lads!

Thanks man, stuff looks good, will have to check it out! I wouldn't mind having to polish it now and then for great results.

So how would I go about sorting this out on the inside of a headlight? My front right headlight is no longer clear, and it doesn't appear to be condensation.

If its on the inside it's not lacquer.

Replace the lens or the unit.

Have you till got the rubber sealers on the headlight? what car is it?

depending on the car, you can bake the headlight this softens the sealer, remove the lens, do the same as above, then put them back together using new sealer.

The car is a Polo 9n. Like this one

The rubber seals are still intact alright.

Interesting. I'd be worried i'd make things worse though!
