    hows it goin, newbie here.
Im an avid flyfisher mainly for trout on lough corrib. but ever since i fished in canada for wild rainbows and salmon, im mad for something more exciting in ireland because trout are getting boring. so i more keen to catch the mighty pike on light tackle.

i'v been out once or twice for them and got them. but i just curious to know what the "professional" would use in terms of rod weight / length, sinking line or intermediate? type of bait on the business end?
    cheers
