Moved from The Ladies Lounge to Personal Issues - think you'll get a better range of advice here, OP.

I'm a guy and have the same problem!! I suggest, going by your username, you could maybe try chatting about football- a guy would love that!

i also have this problem..it takes so long for me to actually talk to them or even sustain eye contact for long periods..i would look anywhere but into their eyes!i think it is def a confidence issue for me anyways, this is possibly the same for you?im currently working on it, or my friends are by trying to force me and lads together..i generally run the other way!if a guy is interested long enough to pt up with my fidgey hands and wandering gaze them i will eventually come out of my shell and once we kiss then its not so bad but im just so generally embarrassed then and then the night is over and we part ways...sigh. :/

You're putting yourself under enormous pressure of hooking up with a guy or getting a guy to like you. Forget all that, enjoy the company of a guy for friendship reasons. Once you get comfortable around them, everything else happens if and when it should.
