Travelling to Tromso

    I am hoping to travel to Norway, more specifically Tromso. I have enquired about tour groups and the price is coming in at 1765 at its cheapest..

    Has anybody any good websites for tour groups to the Northern Lights?

    Has anybody done this trip independently I have gotten cheap flights both to Oslo and Tromso on norwegian.com but where would I go about booking activities when I get there?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated....

    My parents did the trip to Tromso to see the Northern Lights independently. The hotel they were staying in arranged the trip for them to see the lights.

    I will get the details from my Mam tomorrow and post them up.

    Not sure if this is of any help but when you get to Tromso there is a very helpful vistor infomation centre by the harbour. They would be able to sort alot of stuff out for you.

    Look up "northern lights cruises" on google.
    It will bring back both cruises and packages for you.
    There is a massive range of options.
    I think €1765 per person is a bit much to have to pay tbh. You should find far cheaper than that.

    Well I finally booked my trip to Tromso and as the date is getting nearer I am wondering what to pack!!!! I have all the ski/snow gear and I am wondering what 'normal' clothes should I bring??? I am doing alot of activities so wont have much time to be wandering around the city so should be ok for most of the time with ski/snow gear!!!
