    Hi
When I go to charge my psp sometime the red light wont come on but after a lot of plugging it the cable back in and out it eventually comes on sometimes,Im just wondering is this a battery problem or a problem with the psp itself?

Also I brought it in gamestop last january so its still in warrenty if it is indeed the psp would I be entitled to a replacement or would they just send it off to be repaired?

Does it happen enough that if you tried to show it's broken in gamestop it would happen. It's a psp so any saves you have are on the card so just replace the whole lot, you won't be able to buy batteries offline and all gamestop can do to fix it is send it off to sony as they won't have batteries and this will take a while to come back and the only other option would be buying a new battery online yourself and at you own expense(it cheap anyway).

You can have a replacement, refund, or repair, the shop will offer one until you agree and if you don't you'd have to go to the small claims court to try for the option you want but when it's in warranty they just exchange it for a new one as it's handier.

Ya it does happen alot, like when I plug it in the red light wont come on straight away like its suppose to and I have to fiddle around with the wire and it eventually comes on but then it might go off again and I have to do the same thing again.oh ya and I have my recipt (sp?)

Rang up gamestop and they told me to ring sony and give them my serial number and they would give me an number and to go into them with that number and they'd order me a refurdished psp,is this the correct procedure?

it's one of them, if your happy with a refurdished psp then go for that since they offered a good option you'll would have difficulty to get something better and would probably not succeed in getting something better.

Go with this then, a new one from their stock would have been better and faster but you won't be able to make them do that so a refurdished psp is the next best thing.

A new one from there stock would indeed be better, are they suppose to give you a new one?or is a refurb the best they do?

Both are replacement and while a new one is better they only do it sometimes.

Well rang sony wednesday, got the number gamestop told me to get, went into gamestop yesterday and it turns out it was'nt the actual psp but the charger and as chargers are'nt covered in the warranty according your man anyway,I had to pay 15 euro for a new one.
