I don't believe so. There may have been local unit private purchases, but beyond that I doubt it. I'd reckon it was pretty much all private purchase stuff. I did ask my late uncle who served with the Irish air corp from 43 to 47 and he had no recollection of any issued watches anyway. I'd love to be corrected though.

Yeh I'd love to find out too if anything was issued. And with the state of the economy now I don't think they will be getting anything issued anytime soon. :rolleyes:
