Hey,

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend, who is doing research for college. She was hoping ye could answer the questions below about homeopathic medicine?

1. Do you use homeopathic medicines as a first preference for an illness?
2. Would you use it in conjunction with prescribed medicine?
3. Do you use homeopathic remedies as a preventitive measure, i.e. when not currently diagnosed with any illnesses?

Also if this isn't the appropriate forum, does anyone/mod know where would be more suitable?

Hi OP,

I think boards.ie in general frowns upon anyone looking for help with research/homework without approaching a mod first.

Secondly, I can be 99.999% sure that the answers to all those questions would be no, no and no from all regular posters here.

I think you'd be better off doing a survey of the general public than using boards for this.

What is the population your friend's survey is supposed to apply to? I think that taking answers from readers of this forum or having any one single poster forward the study to their friends could possibly introduce bias into the results. When he wrote his research proposal how did he say he was going to find people to complete his survey?
