Menu options missing on iPhone

I have an iPhone 3GS running the latest OS version. I'm on Vodafone and I was at their website and wanted to enter my MMS settings however when I go to the Settings, General, Network, screen I don't have a Cellular Data tab. I simply have a Cellular Data option that can be on or off. There is nowhere that I can see where I can enter MMS settings.

I did have my iPhone unlocked via BlackRain originally but then I got a genuine unlock from O2/Apple and I removed BlackRain. In fact I'm pretty sure I restored my iPhone when it got unlocked.

Has anyone else having these issues? I'd like to be able to enter these MMS settings and stuff but it seems weird that the screen is not even available.

    Thanks!

What you're trying to access are the APN settings. These have been closed off for the last few updates on iOS. The only way I know of accessing them (I could be corrected) is if your iPhone is jailbroken, then you can use a tweak to allow access to them again. Although, I thought all network settings were delivered via iTunes now so these settings didn't need to be altered?

As above, the settings have been configured via a carrier update (Check settings -> general -> About and under carrier it will probably have Vodafone IE 9.0). There should not be a need to change them as your mms settings will be configured for vodafone's network.

That explains it. I guess Vodafone could do with updating their online documentation.

It's just a bit weird as I've occasionally been receiving emails saying that someone has sent me an MMS but I was 99.9% sure that only happened when your MMS settings were incorrect on your phone.

Although it seems to be from just one number as far as I can tell so I guess it doesn't matter that much.

Nice to know I'm not going insane :)
