Unbelievable final there! Robbie Green was up 4 sets to 0 in the final against Ross Montgomery but low and behold Montgomery came back to win 5-4! Definitely the greatest comeback ever in a televised darts final.

Green will be sick.He was outstanding in the first 4 sets but he only had one leg after it where he had shots to win the title.for all that i wouldnt class myself as a montgomery fan especially with that volcano on his arm but he made some fightback.

Good to see another player making the step up I suppose.anyone know who he is playing in lakeside.

An excellent final and a fine tournament overall.would be good to see more tournaments on in holland over the year.youths final wasnt bad either and

Montgomery plays Alan Norris in the 1st round in Lakeside. Personally I wouldn't be a fan of Montgomery,a bit too pro BDO for my liking. Most players who have won this tournament in the past though have went on to be knocked out early in Lakeside! I've betted on Green for Lakeside and hopefully he'll do the business there for me.

I dont like montgomery mainly because he tried to get a player thrown out of the northern ireland open earlier in the year.nothing against his love of the maroon blazer brigade. He should beat norris who was poor at the z.masters but i wouldnt see him getting past the 1/4 finals.

Watching the z.masters would make you think that there should be a summer tournament on dutch tv to keep the bdo in the public eye.we only see them for around 3 months a year whereas sky has no gap for longer than 8 weeks between tournaments.

Darts has struggled in holland over the last few years but would be great to see it at the forefront again if they marketed the game right.
