I saw those signs a few weeks back! think it was half price, dunno how the hell they could sell them for that.

I have to wear 100% cotton socks, they had 3 pairs for €2.50 a few weeks ago. 100% cotton socks are quite difficult to get, I have only seen them in debenhams recently enough and they were very expensive. One old thread here says €9 a pair in arnotts.
