BTEA - Social Welfare Cuts

Does anyone know where I can find out anything about the Social Welfare cuts? BTEA (Back To Education Allowance) in particular please?

My mum said she thinks that (she's not sure if she misheard) that 18-21yo on Social Welfare are not being cut? I find it hard to believe that lol.

Currently I am on €196 per week, I;m 19yo and live at home. In the beginning on January I will be moving out and paying €100 per week for rent.

Has anyone any idea how much I will be cut?

I used this calculator (which I found through Tv3's website) but I am not sure if it is accurate or not, as I think it's more for those who are working.

    Thanks.

AFAIK, you'll get cut by €8 pw (4%). You might get something towards your rent after you move.
